My life was changed because of my time spent at BLOC’s after school program. Because of BLOC’s after-school program, BLOC’s staff was able to learn about my situation and in response created EPOH (hope spelled backwards), a home for at-risk boys. I was the first resident. While living in EPOH, I began to grow in my relationship with Jesus and was baptized when I turned 16. Over the years, I grew very close with Chris & Kelsie Staser, BLOC’s directors of ministry operations. Chris & Kelsie began to walk with me in discipleship, and we grew so close that they adopted me in 2017.

I graduated high school and received a full-ride scholarship to Cincinnati Christian University. My wife and I now serve as missionaries with BLOC bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to Price Hill and surrounding communities through our programs of AfterSchool and Missions.
