Youth Empowerment for Latinos (YEL) exists to support Latino youth in Price Hill, by assisting with homework, creating a space for fun activities, and building meaningful relationships with students who might have experienced trauma. We are looking for volunteers who are fluent in Spanish, have previous experience working with students, and can consistently participate in the program at least 3 hours a week. During the programming, volunteers will be fully present and engaged with the students by joyfully participating in playing games, assisting with homework assignments, and building safe and friendly relationships so the students know they belong and are loved. We are located at 931 McPherson Ave, Cincinnati, OH and are open Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30-6:30 PM.
